Laptop installation instructions

• Insert and boot from the Ventoy USB drive.
• Select the latest version of Linux Mint Cinnamon.
  • Boot in normal mode.
• Double click "Install Linux Mint" on the desktop to open the installer.
• Select English.
• Select the appropriate keyboard layout.
• Skip connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
• Install multimedia codecs.
• Select "Erase disk and install Linux Mint".
• Verify the disk and click "Install Now".
• Click Continue and write the changes to disks.
• Select the London timezone.
• Enter "user" as the name.
• Remove "user-" from the hostname.
• Enter "user" into both password fields.
• Select log in automatically.

After installation:

• Click "Restart Now"
• Remove the USB drive and press Enter

After logging in:

• Add to wifi network
• Download, run and remove the post-install script
• Forget the wifi network
